WestLake Script:
The Usefulness of the Uselessness of "Shan Shui"

“West Lake Script” was a series of artistic events, part of the “Is ‘San Shui 山水‘Useful” initiative launched and directed by Alice Chen and curated by Shi Hantao.
It included:
- An exhibit of Benoit Vermander’s paintings at Parc Hangzhou.
- Four evenings of declamation of Benoit Vermander’s “West Lake Script [西湖剧本]” adapted and serialized by Zhao Chuan.
- Four discussions around the script and the topic “The Usefulness of the Uselessness of San Shui [山水的无用之用].”
